El intérprete traduce para los oyentes en tiempo real mientras que el orador presenta el discurso en su propio idioma. Los oyentes disponen de auriculares para escuchar la interpretación. Esta modalidad se utiliza en conferencias, congresos, seminarios, reuniones, cursos.
Ventajas de la interpretación simultánea: conserva la precisión y el tono de la presentación. Uso más eficiente del tiempo; el horario del evento no se ve afectado ya que no se requiere tiempo adicional para la interpretación y solo es escuchada por quienes la necesiten.

Simultaneous Interpretation
The interpreter translates for the audience in real time while the speaker uses his own language during the speech. Attendants wear headphones to listen to the interpretation. This method is used in conferences, congresses, seminars, meetings, training courses.
Advantages of simultaneous interpretation: very accurate translation, more efficient use of time. Only the people who need translation wear headphones, the other people listen directly to the speaker.
