La Agencia llama al registro de proyectos de energías renovables para tener la oportunidad de ser considerados para su financiación por parte de inversionistas y financiadores.
El primer Foro de Inversión de América Latina de IRENA fue anunciado en Montevideo por el Director General de la Agencia Internacional de Energías Renovables (IRENA), el Sr. Francesco La Camera. El Gobierno de Uruguay, encabezado por el Ministro de Industria, Energía y Minería, Omar Paganini y el Viceministro Walter Verri, acordaron ser sede del evento en Uruguay

IRENA’s first ever Investment Forum in Latin America was announced in Montevideo by the Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Mr. Francesco La Camera. The Government of Uruguay, led by Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Mr. Omar Paganini and Deputy Minister Mr. Walter Verri, agreed to host the event in Uruguay
