We facilitated simultaneous English & Spanish interpretation at the final public hearing convened by the Uruguayan Ministry of the Environment, where the UK company \u201cSearcher Geodata\u201d<\/strong> and the US company \u201cAPA Exploration LDC\u201d<\/strong> presented their projects for authorization to exploit hydrocarbons in Uruguayan marine basins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Preliminary Environmental Authorization Applications submitted by Searcher Geodata UK Limited and APA Exploration LDC \u2013 Uruguay Branch<\/strong> pertain to their three-dimensional offshore seismic prospecting projects in blocks OFF-1, OFF-2, and OFF-4 to OFF-7, located in the Exclusive Economic Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Ancap<\/strong> (the national oil company) has signed hydrocarbon exploration and production contracts with international oil companies in seven areas of the continental shelf. This is the first time that all offshore areas have valid contracts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Las Solicitudes de Autorizaci\u00f3n Ambiental Previa presentadas por Searcher Geodata UK Limited y APA Exploration LDC \u2013 Sucursal Uruguay <\/strong>son para sus proyectos de prospecci\u00f3n s\u00edsmica offshore tridimensional en los bloques OFF-1, OFF-2 y OFF-4 al OFF-7, en la Zona Econ\u00f3mica Exclusiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoy Ancap<\/strong> (empresa estatal de petr\u00f3leo y combustibles de Uruguay) tiene firmados contratos de exploraci\u00f3n y producci\u00f3n de hidrocarburos con petroleras internacionales en siete \u00e1reas de la plataforma continental. Es la primera vez que todas las \u00e1reas del offshore cuentan con contratos vigentes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
